i've seen it on some other sites before. sometimes people only join a forum for the sake of advertising their own. Because that's not exactly something we really want to see, we like all our members to be active. thus i ask that you do not advertise your forum here unless you have at least 15 posts to your name.
that was the sugarcoated version. now here's the not-so-sweet version:
ok, so i can't seem to set the forum to lock you out until you reach the post number, but I can still manually remove your topic if you are caught advertising with fewer than 15 posts. And I WILL do it
if the majority of your posts are in the spam trashcan, you STILL won't be allowed to advertise because you're not contributing to the whole forum
shame a few bad apples out there have to spoil it for the whole bunch, isn't it?
